introduction
what i want to do is make a steam user guide that will go through all of the basic features of steam and i want to make it so it will be easy to follow and navigate so even people who are not necessarily computer literate will still be able to use the features that steam offers
purpose
help people use steam by making and "Electronic user guide on how to navigate and use steam"
animation
animation
animation in this project will consist of titles and images that will be animated across the screen this will make the page more dynamic and easier to move the information so it is in a prime location to catch the eye so people will be drawn to the page
Video
i will want to have some videos that will show steam and how to work it this will help to make the video easier to understand with the visual aid i believe that the videos should be at the front of the page so this way i can show basic information and go into more information later using more information and images
Graphics
i will want to have images that will help make the point that i am talking about for example if i am talking about the steam library i will want to have the image that shows the library this will give visual aid to the page and i believe using this with information that will be on the page will make it so the information is clear and easy to take in
Sound
i believe that i will want to have two main types of sound because i want to have audio sound clips with my voice navigating the page and i want to have music that will accompany the information or graphics on the page for example
target audience
this will be targeted at anyone who would be interested in learning more about steam but i do understand that the main demographic for this would be teenage males from the age of around 13 - 18
platform
this will be made on director because this way i will be able to make the user guide and anyone will be able to view it without having to download any software this will make it more appealing to people and easier to access

There are different types of media that can be used in my steam user guide these include photographs videos graphics logo sound and animation these can be used in may ways that will affect the overall feel of the user guide i will want to use these media types in a way that will enhance the way the information is revived but in a way that does not make the guide harder to use this will make it so anyone computer literate or not will be able to use the guide with ease i believe that i will focus on photography for this user guide because it will make it simple and visual so the information will be easy to take in

graphics will be handy to use because i will be able to put some information on the screen and make it so it is nice to the eye and still useful i want to use vector images so they are high quality and i will want to make sure that the background is transparent so i can use overlays that will look professional and will be neat and share the information that i want to show.

the logo is a part of the company that will be most reconcilable because it is the face of the company what i will want to do is make sure the logo will be at the front of the guide and through the whole guide so you will be able to associate the guide with the product this will also help retain the information because when you are using the program you will subconsciously think about the guide
